The sources in this section relate to the Australian Labor Party (ALP) and the federal elections of 1934, 1937, 1940 and 1943. Three of these campaigns were unsuccessful for the ALP (1934, 1937 and 1940) but the 1943 campaign was a landslide victory for Labor. The resources deal with various aspects of the election campaigns including broadcast speeches, how to vote cards, pamphlets and a campaign film produced for cinema audiences.
