A great resource for classroom teachers, these 55 stimulus documents, grouped in the ten broad themes above, are designed to encourage student learning and support the teaching of history through primary sources.

The resources include photographs, correspondence, speeches, advertisements, films, objects and oral history excerpts from the collections of the John Curtin Prime Ministerial Library (JCPML). Each resource is accompanied by detailed contextual information to make it easy for teachers to use with their students.

The resources were originally supplied to The Le@rning Federation by the JCPML in 2006. The Federation is an initiative of the state, territory and federal governments of Australia and New Zealand. Its aim is to produce a bank of high quality online curriculum content and a delivery infrastructure to encourage student learning and support teachers in Australian and New Zealand schools.
