Federal elections have been held for the seat of Fremantle on average every two and a half years since federation. From 1901 to 2010, forty three general elections and two by-elections (to fill vacancies resulting from the death or resignation of the sitting member) have taken place. The overall voting figures, including the final count after distribution of preferences and the percentage of primary valid votes in each subdivision or polling place, are provided for each election (where available).
