Best Viewing Please remember that the documents you are viewing were written between 1941 and 1945 which makes them more than 50 years old! This means that the quality of the original material is not the same as modern word-processed documents. For instance, some of the type in the image may appear blurry because it is a carbon copy, and this has nothing to do with your screen resolution.

The images used in this resource have been produced through Kodak CD colour which uses a built-in colour management system. To view the images at their best set your screen colour depth to 16 bit, and use either Netscape Navigator 3 (or higher) or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3 (or higher). However, this resource will function with a minimum of 8 Mb of RAM (using virtual memory) and 8 bit colour.

Hiding your browser tool bars will give you more screen size for the images. Check your default browser font is set to Arial 10 point. To do this in Netscape select "Options" in the menu bar at the top of the screen, then select "General preferences" and "Font". In MIE click the "Font" button on the toolbar to cycle through the font sizes.
