Encoded Archival Description[EAD] Projects: The EAD Document Type Definition (DTD) Official Website is a standard for encoding archival finding aids using the Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML). The standard is maintained in the Network Development and MARC Standards Office of the Library of Congress (LC) in partnership with the Society of American Archivists and the site has links to most of the projects and products using this approach.
