WHERE DID THE CURTINS LIVE?
This is the Curtin's home at 14 (later renumbered 24) Jarrad Street, Cottesloe, in 1927, before the verandas were enclosed. John Curtin used to pace up and down the verandah composing his speeches.

AT HOME
In these two photographs the family has grown up. We can see that they are comfortable, that there is a certain pride in presenting their home to others. We can also see that this is a family in which reading is valued.
