London - to wit

The Right Honourable John Curtin, Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Commonwealth of Australia and a citizen of London, was admitted into the Freedom aforesaid and made the Declaration required by Law in the Mayoralty of Sir Frank Edwin Newson-Smith, Knt, Mayor, and Anthony Frederick Ingham Pickford, Esquire, Vice Chamberlain, and is entered in the book signed with the Letter N.2. relating to the Purchasing of Freedoms and the Admissions of Freemen [to wit] the 10th day of May in the 8the year of the reign of King George VI and in the Year of our Lord 1944.
