Samuel Herbert Cohen, QC (b.1918
- d. 1969)
Mr Cohen was elected to the Senate in 1962
and was a Member of the Senate Standing Committee on Regulations and Ordinances.
He served as Deputy Labor Leader in the Senate from 1967 and was a Member
of the Council of ANU from 1968.
Prior to entering parliament Mr Cohen served in the Australian Military
Forces, then subsequently became a barrister. Mr Cohen died in October 1969.
