Case for No-Conscription
The NATIONAL EXECUTIVE, feeling it imperative that a reply be made to the Lies, Misrepresentations and Suppressions daily perpetrated in the Capitalist Press, has decided to publish a Melbourne edition of the Ballarat 'Echo', which is a Labor Daily. THE FIRST ISSUE WILL BE PLACED ON THE STREETS ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 16th. It will contain the Anti-Conscription Case and stand for the Industrial and Political Policy of the Workers as formulated by Congress.
'The Echo ' will be the PEOPLE’S Newspaper, defending the People’s Rights and answering the Conspiracy to Enslave Australia.
